Our family vacation at Bed & Breakfast De Ruige Weide was truly delightful. Nestled amidst the serene Dutch countryside, this charming farmhouse provided a warm and inviting atmosphere for us. Nicole, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even accommodating our early arrival with a steaming cup of coffee. The serene surroundings and picturesque views made us feel like we had stepped into a postcard of Holland.As we explored the lush grounds, we couldn't resist capturing the beauty around us. Nicole's recommendation to visit the nearby lakes of Reeuwijk was spot on. Our kids, Manouk, Tijs, and Daan, had a blast trying out water sports and soaking in the stunning views. The family-friendly amenities at the B&B, such as cozy rooms and a delicious breakfast spread, made our stay truly memorable.Despite the slight inconvenience of transportation without a car, our experience at De Ruige Weide was unparalleled. For families seeking a taste of Dutch farm life and a tranquil retreat, this hidden gem is a must-visit. We left with hearts full of happy memories and a longing to return soon.
